the history of racism
As part of the school activities organized by El Manar Girls' High School, students from both Literary and Scientific streams presented a variety of activities dealing with the history of racism in the United States with the famous reaction of "ROZA PARKS", the mother of civil rights movement who refused to give up her seat to a white American citizen in a bus. After that, the students explained how much are advertisements responsible on prevailing the idea of racism and spreading it among people! "I am better than him" was an intervention by Mr. YACINE Slimane Bouasbana who talked about Iblis's false pride and the different aspects of racism.Again with the subject of media, there was a discussion of how can the enemy destroy us without a single shot being fired and this is what we call "the intellectual invasion".Later students explained how science itself was frequently misused to justify discrimination and this isn't a new phenomenon after all! Science was unfortunately used to cause a biological war and make viruses in laboratories from scratch in order to kill humans, plants and animals. Finally, we would like to thank everyone participated and worked hard to make all those activities a success.
